BIOGRAPHY

Dashita also known as DASH, is a Latin artist and producer from Osa, Puntarenas, Costa Rica.

 

She blends Latin urban rhythms with experimental techno and futuristic pop, while her lyrics reflect her point of view as a latin woman navigating the music industry and constantly pushing against the limits of a “regular” life.

Her music reflects both her artistic and human side, juxtaposing fantasy and imagination with the realities and struggles of growth, mixing vulnerability, humor, and authentic storytelling; her music challenges the historical silencing of female voices and speaks unapologetically about her real experiences.
 

Born and raised in Costa Rica, Dashita relocated to Los Angeles, California, where she is currently studying Music Business with a concentration in Artist Management at Berklee College of Music while building her independent music career.
 

Her vision is to bring visibility to Costa Rican culture and art, and to stand as a voice for dreamers and vulnerable communities.
